Green Beans Almondine

Try to do these two steps concurrently because green beans should still be hot by time the almonds are done.

Steam green beans.

Sauté almonds in butter (or margarine) over low heat until golden brown, stirring occasionally to prevent burning. Remove almonds from heat and stir in lemon juice and salt. Pour almond mixture over the still-hot green beans and serve.
